  • Harrison Gilliland

Harrison Gilliland is a born entrepreneur with “oil in his blood.” A fourth-generation resident of Plainville, Kansas, Harrison grew up visiting oil production sites with his father and grandfather. He started HG Oil Holdings in 2020 after recognizing the opportunity to participate in the generational transfer of oil properties likely to coincide with the recovery of pricing following the Covid shutdowns. This is by design after using the same model he proved to be successful in his first of size ventures, HG AG Holdings. At its current pace of growth, HG Oil likely to be among the top 10 Kansas oil operators by the end of 2026. Harrison’s responsibilities include sourcing new deals, organizing financing, and recruiting the talent that keeps HG Oil moving forward.
